MadHater1: THAT WAS SOO FUCKING FUNNY!!

The all caps and extra exclamation point prove that The Throwing Show really is the funniest thing ever invented, in 2008, between the hours of 2 and 4pm, on the first Saturday of the Spring Solstice.

So I started production on “A Beautiful Life” last week, my first full commitment to a feature film. First off, features are a whole different bag of apples, everyone has a specific job and they all do it well. Nice and professional but a little stagnatic on the whole community learning process. Denise Richards and Michael Madsen are in this thing, but so far I’ve been impressed by the two leads, Angela Sarafyan and Jesse Garcia. They’re so nice and very, very talented.

On this film I am a Key Set PA, which is a glorified title for a PA who’s attached to the set by the hip. Considering everything else I have done has either been me directing or ADing, this has been quite an adjustment for my ego, but I thought it was important to work on at least one feature and try to learn something from people that have been doing this for years instead of working with my peers and learning as we go. I’m not sure if I made the right decision, lol, being a PA is a pretty thankless job but at least it has strengthened my passion for making my own movies.

I just wrapped my days on Other People’s Parties. Good times! I wish I was able to finish out the shoot because the crew was so much fun. But alas, Denise Richards awaits.
