Jim Harmon Biography

Jim Harmon is a writer and director of digital shorts and documentary films. His work has been featured on the websites of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Funny or Die, Perez Hilton, Examiner.com, The Huffington Post, Spike TV, and Health 2.0.

His passion for writing and creating films, combined with his knowledge of the latest in affordable digital technologies has positioned him to be successful in the booming industry of online video. His production company, Angry Pickle Productions, has produced over one hundred short films ranging from sketch comedy, how-to, one on one interviews, and documentary style films.

Jim’s diverse background includes a BA in Psychology at CSU Northridge, the director’s certification program at UCLA, work experience as a DJ at KROQ radio in Los Angeles, and ten years as an interactive designer at Virtuoso Medical Web Design.

His latest projects include the online instructional series, Bartending Bootcamp, which teaches viewers how to make their favorite cocktails, and a series of short documentary films for Health 2.0, which features the latest in health technologies and how they apply to patient care.

Jim can be found doing ten things at once from his home in La Cañada Flintridge, CA.
